For a 1970 GTX what is the correct wheel that goes on the car ? Does the OEM wheel with the silver center have beauty rings or a chrome outer is it supposed to be 15 by 6 ?

It depends on what your car left the factory with. Have you got the build sheet at all?
There were several options for wheels - Rallye, magnum and road, with 14" or 15"

It came with 15 did 1970 Plymouth GTX use beauty rings or a chrome outer like the Ford magnum. Sorry I'm not familiar with mopar wheels yet but the wheels I have a silver center and a chrome outer it is probably rally wheel. Most of the mopar wheels I see have beauty rings not chrome outers is this true Thanks ???

This pic of my GTX shows the 15" Rallye wheel with the chrome beauty rings

I am sure that the Magnum wheel (similar to Ford) did not have a beauty ring.
Road wheels were available in body colour or black (from what I understand)
Hope that helps.

That's great I have the same wheel as yours picture do you know how wide the wheel is ?? Thank you I don't know what's on this car I have it the same wheel as the pic but has a chrome outer like a Ford magnum no beauty ring all chrome .

Looks kinda like a 6 1/2" trim-ring, on a 7" wheel.

Steel wheels had dog-dishes or full wheel covers. They were body color or black, depending on year. M-code 69's just had chrome lugs. I've seen T/A's with rings and dog dishes.
Rally wheels had different rings and centers, depending on size and year.
Road/Magnums were either chrome[early] or trim-ringed on later cars.

Magnums=no beauty ring. all chrome. Road wheels (Mopar's version of magnum)=beauty ring

what you and Kiwi have a Mopar rallye wheels. although I have never seen a Rallye wheel that doesnt have a beauty ring, but is chrome all the way around. interesting.
