I have bolts for chevy eng,not mopar? Thanks

Same bolts for a small block chevy and all mopar engine 3/8. Fords are a different story, had one that was 7/16

This kinda coincides with somethin I just read recently. Bob Glidden's son Billy will not build an engine on a conventional rear hang satnd. He feels the block distorts from hanging off the bellhousing. Interesting point to ponder. I bet he's right. Although that ain't gonna stop me from doin it. lol

3/8-16 for the blind holes and 7/16" thru hole for the lower corners. I use the upper two and the lower corners with a nut. However, I'm thinking about building them standing on the *** end from now on.

That's how I do mine.

I meant with the bigger bolts and nuts at the bottom. Done many over the years, no problem. All stock rebuilds, no race motors, though.

Well it's certainly something to think about. Just think about how a torque plate distorts the cylinders mimmicking a head bolted on. I would certainly think the bellhousing area would distort in a similar fashion. I wonder if an infared camers would pick it up? Would be interesting to see.
