What throttle cable and kickdown brackets do I need?

I can't figure out what brackets I need to get my kickdown and throttle cable hooked up correctly. There's info out there for new Edelbrock carbs, but not old stuff like what I'm using.

I'm moving from a stock cast iron 2 barrel intake to a non-RPM Performer manifold and a Carter AVS off of a New Yorker. I presumably don't need to change anything on the carb itself since the linkages are already for a Chrysler, but what do I do about the throttle cable and kickdown linkage brackets? What do I need to get?

I don't want to drop $80-$120 on a kickdown cable kit if I can just get an aftermarket bracket and keep my original rod kickdown setup. Unfortunately I don't have the means to just make something out of plate.

You can build a kit out of the JY cheap.& $4 0r $5 bucks at the hardware store,

What motor ya working on?
Different throttle cable, cable bracket and K/D between 2-bbl and 4-bbl. Also different between SB and BB.
Could buy the Jeggs or Locker K/D cables and brackets but will cost a Bennie or 2.

It's a 318. So the actual kickdown linkage itself different between 2/4bbls too? I was really hoping I just had to futz with brackets...

i have used stock brackets with minor adjusting and or modifications many times.just line up the 4bbl on the performer and measure the distance from the mounting holes for the bracket to the link on the carb to see if yours will adjust that far.

Well I said screw it and gave it a try - appears to work fine! All I had to do was bend the throttle cable side of the bracket towards the valve cover to let the cable clear the wider carburetor. The very end of the trans rod had enough thread in it to adjust back to its proper position of just touching the carb lever at idle. I just had to flip it around to mount on the outside of the lever bracket instead of the inside. I guess those brackets and cable kits are more for people with more radical/taller intakes than what I have.
