I am trying to plan ahead for which parts I want to pick up and am trying to figure out wheels for my 67 Coronet. I have been leaning very much toward the factory 18" challenger R/T wheels.

So my question is what sizes will fit in the wheel openings without rubbing?

And do I go oldschool (rally style factory look) or new (challenger or other 5 spoke 17-18")?

American Racing make some very cool wheels I like the Saltflat Halibrand look a likes, there is another cool wheel the Daytona series VN801 is also a nice style, The Vintage Shelby Cobra style wheels are also a great looking wheel, unless your a purist then a 15" Road Wheel Chrome with black accented centers.... American Racing, Stockton Wheel or Wheel Vintiques

Hey kb67mopar ....Id go Mag 500 wheels on your type of model ... but I also like rally's -I dont like new rims on our old classics-kinda looks funny- but to each their own-

Rallys would look good..Theres so many out there its a hard decision, but get the ones you yourself like.

Thanks guys, so far some really good suggestions. Does anybody know how wide you can go before you rub at full lock? and how about height?

Right now my car has cordoba wheels on it which actually look ok but aren't really a good choice over all. but these will work while its in roller form.

I do like those mag 500 wheels, what sizes are those available in? will 14" or 15" cover front and rear disks?

kb67,
send me your email address and I'll send you pics of my 66 with 225/70/15 front on 15x7 inch US Mags. The rears are 255/70/15 on 15x8 inch rims. Most after market disc brake kits require 15" rims. I would post on this site but it errors out as file too big.

15x7 Cop Car (body color) with 225-75-15's in front and 15x8 with 275-60-15's in back; no rub. Just my preference--second to period correct American Torq-Thrusts, Cragers, Magnum 500's, and don't forget the Sox & Martin Keystone mags. Whatever your choice, it'll look great! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I like old style here's mine

I love the look on your car, I have been seriously thinking about those as well. That is the same color my car came from the factory and it may stay that color when I am done. You don't happen to have another pass side grille surround do you?

money -get what you want and can afford-if someone does not like it -tuff-or get two sets of wheels and tires
