Guys, went to the auto store to get some new motor mounts for my 73 , factory 400 , 4 speed car and the mounts they showed did not look like mine. Pretty obvious it has been changed.....so what year did they stick in there....thanks..

That looks like a later B K member. The mounts you need look sort of like the 73-76 A body mounts.
This is a 74 Duster V8 K member.

They went to spool type mounts in 1973, and that is what your k member has. I think the auto parts store was mistaken.

You have the correct K=frame. The big block spool mounts are not available, just the small block one are. I have some big block mounts. PM me if your interested.
If you already have the mounts you can buy new inserts in both rubber or poly.

Ok, trying to learn the lingo, the motor mounts I removed look like the pics RT posted, and I see that is called spool mounts and y'all say that was correct for big block cars in 73. The pics at the auto store showed a flat , direct bolt on mount that had a stud in the middle. Saw a 72 K member and that is what type it took. Now my parts guy got me just the rubber round mount that appears will fit my spool mounts but he said those are listed for small blocks...ha ha Seems motor, tranny and rear axle in my car have been changed out in its past....I just assumed I have bought a real Frankinstein car....thanks much...

The rubber mounts they make today are not very good. You might want to try poly ones. Ignore the years listed in the picture, they fit 1973.
