I have a 1968 coronet 440. It has the numbers matching 383 2bbl auto not runing. It needs a lot of work, but I have A LOT of parts. One peace front floor pan, new trunk floor two flat hoods and a fully restored power bulge hood. Trunk lid need some rust repair but not much.a standerd and rally dash frame with rally pads.front clip is off but all there. It needs a RH quarter and a LH lower qurt. And needs trunk drop offs.plus any other B-body part I have. Needs a full restoation. I got about $4500 in it now. Any ideas on how much I could get out of it as is?

Post some pictures. Based on what you mentioned, and what similar condition cars like yours are going for, around $5k - $6. Depending on options, someone may even pay a little more.

Well like I said, its not running,no title and needs a total resto. But there's a lot of parts. The drive trains all there. 383 2bbl auto 8:3/4 two dr ht. With fender tag. My buddy said it was one of 49 built with a 383 2bbl. Heck, if you want it. Make an offer!

No title has a tendency to make people nerves. Ive been there and done that before. If that had a title i don't imagine you would have a problem selling it. I didn't see in your original post about the title and not having one.

Even with a title I think some of the price estimates given here for the condition of your car are over zealous.

The best way to determine a value for your car is to look at completed auctions on Ebay of projects that ACTUALLY sold recently.

You may want to look at this thread for comparison as well.

Hey Metal Bee 68, might be worthwhile to get a title for it in your name. The "JUNKYARD DOG" didn't come with one and it literally toook me 20 minutes at the Sec. of State and 18 bucks and the new clear title was at my door less then 3 weeks later. I chose to go to the office that was way out in the sticks and I think that helped, the people in this little office were very accomidating while the people in the offices close to the big city here just looked at me with a blank stair as if I was asking something impossible. I know things differ vfrom state to state but it would be worth a try.
BTW I'm thinking in the 4 to 5 K range for the car, but some pics would be helpful.
