What's the best sealing high heat exhaust wrap to keep noise and fumes contained between two pipes meeting?

I'm trying to find out who has an idea for a wrap for slip on exhaust pipes that slide over collectors.

Permatex Muffler/tailpipe sealer. $3.99 @ ACE Hardware.
It's a high temp pottery clay that will seal the slip-joints.
Any excess you can wipe off with a damp paper towel.

I used this stuff and did not realize that the exhaust needed to be hot -- according to other comments on amazon. But, after a few 1/2 hour drives it seems to have sealed everything up. I connected a shop vac to each tailpipe (no crossover) and sprayed soap and water on slip joints -- no more bubbles.

You need to get these! Amazon has "single" clamps also. Just find your O.D. pipe diameter and wrap one of these around your pipe(s) I put these on my complete new exhaust system instead of the crappy "U" clamps .
