I was looking at some other pictures of '69 bees that have vinyl tops, and it looks like none of them have the vinyl top running below the rear window along the dutchman panel. It looks like there is only a single strip of chrome molding around the bottom edge of the window.
However, as you can see below, my '69 bee looks to have had a vinyl top that DID run below the rear window, and it would then have had a second strip of molding at the bottom edge of the vinyl there.
I can't find a single picture of another bee like this, nor can I find anything on the interwebs that describes a different vinyl top line along the rear window....
Am I missing something? Was there some weird option in '69 that allowed for an extension of the vinyl along the dutchman panel?
