wheel backspacing for 63 plymouth help

Does anyone know what my backspacing should be for a 63 plymouth savoy? I was told I could run an 8" rim and 10" wide tires under a stock '63 8.75 rearend... So, I am trying to figure my backspacing for the rim. I appreciate the help

I would consider changing to a 65 B housing It'll give you a little more tire clearance 1/2" to the outside!

I have some wheel vintiques that are 15x8 with 4 1/2" backspacing that are sitting in the shop (no tires mounted yet) that you are welcom to try if you want.

I'm running 4.5" BS on 15 x 8 wheel on 62 Dart with stock rear - fits perfect.

hi I have 15 X 8 keystone classic's with 4" back space and a 275 60 tire on my 63 fury they fit perfect. bob
