I have a 64 Belvedere that came with the big brakes 11x3, does anyone else have that oddball wheel cylinder on the front of their car that cannot be found anywhere. I have lying in the floor three pairs of cylinders that don't fit a damn thing, and espiealiy not a 64 plymouth, bleeders are too big and are inaccessable, or are the right size and drilled at the wrong angle so you cannot get to them to bleed, I have two that the threads for the hose are metric and the holes for the mounting bolts are sae. this is starting to get frustating is anyone relining the oridginals ?? Dave.

If those^^^^ aren't right pictures of backing plate wold help.

Bee, the one on the left is the one, I have six of those things lying in the floor by my car, where the bleeder sits behind the spindle is VERY close and confined, the stock ones are a pita to bleed, any differences make it not usable, the last ones were not even close, the bleeder was hitting the spindle before I even put the bolts in, tightening would have broken the bleeder off the cylinder.(angle was off) the stock cylinders have got .250 bleeders, even one with a 5/16 bleeder will not fit, I have thought about grinding some of the spindle away to make room but grinding on a strucural part of the front suspension is always skechy to me. I will call some people and see if I can find some usa made ones. thanks for the help guys. Dave.

If you have originals have them sleeved. My 66 Satellite has 3x11 front brakes and 1/4" bleeders don't remember the backing plate hole though.

Rebuilding your originals is always an option. Very easy process if they aren't pitted.
