http://www.wheelplususa.com/wheels/DUB_1ONE/ Alrighty guys the time is almost here to finally get the wheels ordered so I thought I'd ask if anyone has ever used Wheelplus. They've givin me the best deal so far but just thought I should ask around before laying down the cash. They are custom made US Mags that require payment before the order goes threw which is why I'm asking if anyone has used these guys. Any other recommendations are welcome. Thanks guys

Personally,never heard of them.Doesn't make them bad,,,,,,,,,,but:icon_question:

Which wheel are you looking at??

Im always hesitant on unestablished wheel companies. I know people who work at wheels shops and hear horror stories of too good to be true wheels. There is such thing as unbalancable wheels and wheels that have bead lock failures. I am all about a bargain but not when it comes to parts that hold my life in their hands.

Seems you are from the same school of thought.

After my long rant....I haven't heard of them haha

Payment before the order goes through? In the fprm of a deposit or do they want cash up front in full?? I would have a problem with the latter

Summit Racing

Summit Racing {or maybe Jegs even}, if Summit has them, it's pretty hard to beat their pricing & free shipping...

what wheels did you decide on ??

747mopar the link you showed, their purchase policy would make me think twice...

Here's the wheels I've decided on and they are a well known trusted brand "US Mag" it's the were to buy them that I'm trying to figure out. I wouldn't even be asking if Summit or Jegs sold them because I have nothing but good things to say about those guys but they don't so here I am. Yes they want all up front which makes me nervous but everybody will want it up front or at least half seeing how they are a custom made to order wheel. I've tried local but the price is quite a bit higher then everyone else and you have the tax as well. Thanks, I'll keep looking US_Rambler_Gunmetal_500.jpg

I haven't dealt w/ them, but they seem legit. Order w/ CC and keep a record of the dimensions you order - should protect you. I couldn't find it, but does the supplier ever even touch the wheel, or are they just drop shipped from the manufacturer? As long as the dimensions are communicated correctly, everything should go smoothly.

...and yes guys 'custom' means $ up front.

How about contacting U.S. Mag and asking what their relationship is like with "wheelplususa"? any way to deal with U.S. mags direct?

I hear what you're saying about them being the cheapest quote but I'd hope there isn't a "reason" they are cheaper... finding a source that you feel comfortable with might be worth the extra bit of cash for insurance and sleeping sound.

Any reviews online anywhere for wheelplususa? Did you ask on the pro-touring forum also I would think they would have more members with experience ordering custom wheels.

Good suggestions and no they never even touch the wheel, they are drop shipped from US Mag.

yeah 747mopar you have to refresh the page sometimes to have the "thanks" feature work, I'm not sure why, mine does the same thing, sometimes I thank someone & the next day it won't be there... a site glitch maybe, not sure if mods have anything to do with it, maybe Joey will notice...
