Wheel Trim for 74 RR/GTX Restore

Hoping someone can help us out... We are restoring a 74 RR/GTX. Need to find or somehow fabricate the wheel opening trim. I'm sure you all know how scarce it is. Has anyone been successful in using another year and modifying it?

I was lucky to find a NOS set, but there is another member on here that has a used set in fairly good shape that he was going to see to me, and it looked restorable, but he never got around to it, send me a PM and I can get you his name unless he responds here. Also, you might check with collectorsautosupply.com, I know they have an NOS set on consignment, but the person selling it wants outrageous price, $450 each for fronts and $975 each for rears. That's way too high!
