ok guys,,,i know they dont belong there,,,,or do they??? my fender tag says they dont belong but i am seriously contemplating installing wheel well chrome mouldings on my 70 Road Runner. did these cars EVER come with the mouldings? i really like the look of them and i think it will enhance the appearance. I WANT YOUR OPINIONS...weather positive or negative .

sincerely yours....the surprised winner of the t-shirt car /band thingy( ..lmao..i hadda toss that in there)

thanx and lookin forward to what ya think:headbang:

Mine didn't have them, and i don't ever remember seeing them on one, except for a couple GTX models. I do think the would look good on a 70 Road Runner though.

As far as I know the moldings were not available as a factory option on a road runner until 1971. Were talking runners here not any other Plymouth b-body.

I know its not factory for my car but I sure like them!

 I'm intersted as well..Heard the aftermarket ones have marginal fit. Any recommendations/comments?

Thanks for doing all the footwork tpodwdog

I got a set from CLASSIC INDUSTRIES for my 68 GTX and they were all smashed in on some places when I opened them up. They sent me another whole set after taking pictures of the dented area. When I opened the box they said METRO on them. I think one place makes these and sell them to everyone. I have not fit them but they sure are not like my banged up originals. You might not be happy. Other peoples thought on this. Thanks.
