Where was my car sold?

You will have to back track all the previous owners to find that info. One of them will have the window sticker if you are lucky. At least maybe get what city it was sold in,then call all dealers in that city to see if they still have the records from that year. Galen Govier may know a better way,

If you have a year or so up your sleeve, Galen Govier can normally provide the answer - it only took 13 months for him to find mine. :)

I contacted Chrysler a few years ago who told me the 69 and earlier records were destroyed in a fire. I traced it back to the 2nd owner who said he bought it from a state trooper in Minnesota but didn't remember his name.

Bernie, go to the MTO and get a UVIP for 20 bucks. It will give you the ownership history of the car.

Wait - you got an answer ?

I sure did :) but it was back in 2002....and emails were just coming into fashion then. The world used to be smaller...and then this crowd called Google opened up the possibilities of restoring a car from the comfort of your own home.

Heck, I even got a mention in Galen's column in the Mopar Collector's Guide of June 2002;

Got quite a surprise as I read that magazine :headbang:
