I think im going to redo the drum brakes on the coronet ,can someone guide me in the right direction, is there any kits out there?

You should be able to get everything you need at the local NAPA. They might even have most of the parts you need in stock if it's a bigger store. If they don't have something in stock, they can usually get it the next day. Spend a little extra and get the premium shoes. When you go in, look for the oldest counterman in the place.

For sure get the best shoes made!! The factory shoes were just so so and faded quickly. Not sure anymore but semi metallic were available not too long ago and work pretty well but are a bit hard on drums but if you're good at not stomping your brakes at the drop of the hat, they will last a pretty long time. My wife is either hard on the gas or hard on the brakes and it shows....
