Even though drilling out spot welds isn't a whole lot of fun...this kit works great for me;

Blair (3) 3/8" Cutters, Arbor w/ Standard Pilot, & Extra Pilot (P/N 11082)

The pilots tip flattens out a bit after a few hundred drill outs, but a few seconds on a bench grinder sharpens them up just fine. Using machine/tap oil or the spot weld cutter lube they sell, also helps out.
