I want to go to either Mopar Nats in Ohio or Chrysler at Carlisle next year. Mostly for the swap meet and vendors but also to see some nice cars and burnouts/drags. I have never been to either so which one is better?

carlisle has many more vendors but no separation between new and old stuff....no kamma kazzi golf carts..no on site drags...wonderful cars at both...

I have been to both I think the Mopar Nats is way more fun and the drag racing is on site and go to Heath at night for the super cruise we have blast I have been going to the Nats for 20 years thanks Bob

I've been to the Mopar Nat's but not to Carlisle. If Carlisle doesn't have drag racing and I were only going to 1 it would be the Nats. Half the awesomeness for me is the sights, sounds, and smells of the early 60's factory super stock cars and the rest of the racers. I also love the nightly cruises.
I have no interest at all in seeing new cars that I can see in a dealers lot or diving next to me on the highway and if they are mixed in with the classic cars that would be a turn off for me too as it would be more walking. I would just want to focus on the thousands of vintage cars.

For a swap meet Carlisle blows all the others out of the park. The Carlisle swap is about 8 times larger than the Nats and is also ran a lot better. Carlisle has a Manufacture's Midway like most shows.
For drag racing the Nats is one of the best in the country.
Both have a real good show field with Carlisle being a bit larger.
I do up to 16 shows a year from the Flings in LA to Carlisle. If I could only do one show I'd drive the 2000 mile trip each way to Carlisle.
