Which tranny?

I'm new to this car and have just started finally ripping apart my 1972 charger. It has a 318 in it. How do I tell if I have a 727 tranny or 904 tranny in it?

Being a318 it is probably backed with a 904. What is the tranny pan shaped like

I'am thinking the shift arm on a 904 is crooked too, not straight.

The 727 pan has a slight bulge at the corner where the dip stick goes in.
