evrytime i run the car there white smoke coming from the breathers??i run edelbrock valve covers with breathers on both sides?what could cause this?

Do you have a PCV valve on it? If so make sure it's working.
no rusty i dont....just got breathers on both valves?i did some goggling on the pcv valve and do
i connect it to the carburator or air cleaner?

Connect it to the BIG vacuum port either in the base plate of the carburetor or the big one on the intake manifold and plug the PCV valve into the valve cover. I bet that will solve your problem.

oh okey but do i do it on both sides or just one?thanks man

Having breathers on both valve covers isnt unusual. Generally refer to as atmospheric venting. And the white smoke you are seeing is oil misting. This can be somewhat reduced by baffles but won't completely go away. Some do this to prevent those crankcase gases recirculating into the combustion chamber...most say it doesn't matter, including the factory. So the PCV is generally used for street cars. But the way you had it is technically fine.
