Just curious if there is any plug made to snap in the holes where the heater core pipes come through the firewall. Anyone?

I just ran a small heater hose from one pipe to the other on my 55 Plymouth and did the same thing on the engine too. No trouble so far,
John

Oh sorry guys, I was going to remove the heater core altogether. I'm just trying to plug the holes in the firewall. Thanks though!!

local hardware store....or maybe one of the rubber body plugs can be made to fit?

I found several body plug kits on Ebay for various years/models. The kits can be kinda pricey but that's how I found mine.

There's a guy on here that sells the factory style rubber plugs for the bolt holes.

For the heater core holes I used some rubber plugs I found at O'Reilly's in the HELP section.

FYI, the heater box/assembly weighs 25 lbs.

Here is his information:

"I have reproduced heater delete plugs, they are identical to the originals.$25.00 shipping included.

I pulled my heater core out years ago and got electrical box plugs out of the hardware store

My heater core is still in the car but I did not hook it up. I used these little red rubber caps you see here that I got at work. I worked as a Dodge tech for 24 years and when you replaced an AIS motor these red caps came on the AIS motor covering the pintle so I have alot of them in my toolbox. They work good if the heater core is still in the car like mine as they fit the heater core tubes that stick out through the firewall real nicely. Ron

I did my heater delete years ago. I now have solar heating. Roll up the windows, park it in the sun. If it's cloudy or nighttime I'm out of luck.

I think the factory just used plastic plugs on the WO & RO Superstock cars...they just snap into the holes that the core tubes came out through

As was said above, I just used basic black body plugs. I did put a grommet in one fo the holes to bring my MSD wires through, but that could just as easily have been another body plug.
