That's great the 255's are what I was looking to get. A friend suggested 17' wheels with low side walls. I do not want to feel the road there is enough vibration from the 493 :)

Just curious were did you get the 440 emblem for your scoop? is it a direct replacement to the 383 holes or stick on?
I didnt put it on there I assume it come stock.. It was a Factory 440 car..you can buy the emblems at yearone or most resto shops

Yep, GTX=440 in 69. As far as I know, the emblem should be a direct replacement for the 383 callout.

235/60 15 all the way around.

Looks great! How did you get the stance just about level with the tall 28" tires in the rear and the 225/60/15's which are 25.6" tall? I have 235/60/15's front and 275/60/15 rear on my '68 satellite and I can't get rid of the rake without a huge gap between the top of the front tire and fender lip. Did you lower the rear of your car somehow?

Sorry just seen this, No I didn't lower the rear it does have new rear springs on it (mopar performance) and when I got the front end alined I turned it about an inch. thats it

very nice!

Nice! I'm repainting my 67 bright blue metallic (same color as my old 68 GTX). I really like the wheel lip mouldings. Do you recall where you got them?
Thanks!
