Who makes the best rear main seal? I rather pay extra and get a seal that won't leak, especially when my car is not a daily driver.

Thanks

If the original seals are installed correctly they do not leak either. Just have to follow directions.

Seems like it it mainly the installER. Mine was installed by someone who has done at least a half dozen with no leaks.

The orange "FLUOROELASTOMER" main seal from Superformance (#9440) or Fel-Pro (#2947)
The Fel-Pro number is usually just the rear main seal without side seals. Hughes Engines sells them with the side seals for $35.49
The Superformance number includes the side seals. Last year I got the Superformance ones from Hughes, but now they only show the Fel-Pro?
Mancinni racing has the Superformance seal with side seals for $34.99

Oops, forgot 440 source sells the rear main seal for $19.95, and the side seals for $8.95. I think this is the Fel-Pro version? Buy $100 worth of parts and get free shipping too.
