15 min away.

Check out the info on the GTX

Yeah no doubt high priced air grabber or not, A12 might consider it. I mean for $50k at least wash the freaking car man!

Someone is trying to ride the wave of high prices. Nice car and looks very complete but I'm not buying the fact it's worth $50K.

Yea he selling it as a Barn Find mentality, jacked up the prices, he wants to leave the dirt for more $$$...LOL... More like $20k-$25k {maybe} from what I see... Could be worth a short drive, to look at other stuff & tell him his prices are astronomical...LOL...

I wonder what the GTX is like now... $65k for a GTX, I know it's usually worth a little more than a 383 Auto bench seat 69 RR thou...

Well if anyone is interested let me know I will go get the vins and a ton of pics, we have good weather now so a drive there in my 69 would be too much fun ;)

68 Dart GT for $5,500 ?? I'm not in the market, but that could be a deal, It seems with how he prices stuff, it's probably a basket case thou...

Not to get off topic but this reminds me of show I watched yesterday.

Did you happen to see that Texas car wars show I think it was episode 17 back from 2012 where the guys from atomic garage bid war a dart built for the strip and the dude wants to immediately throw a chevy 350 in it? lmao his partner said hey man you will get hung by the dodge boys if you do that and he said I don't care it's my build I 'll do what I want blah blah, then his bud talks him into a junk yard 440 but they get like the worst one possible and it needs $2k in engine work lol guys gets all shity with his buddy doesn't even finish the car and then lies his *** off at the end when selling it. Prime example of douche bag! glad hat show was year plus old was ready to get all up in his face lol

Justin case your interested

Yea I remember the Purple Dart... on that show Texas Car Warts, flippers & mainly bolt on parts replacers for the most parts...

Keep in mind this guy looks like he's a dealer, so his prices are going to be 30% or 40% higher than what us straights would charge. He doesn't expect to get $50k, but there's no good business reason for asking a "fair" price if there's a chance some moron will come in and pay top dollar if you ask for it.

I'll bet he would sell in the 35K range if somebody showed with the $$. Like Bru says, these guys always shoot for the moon, they can't help themselves. It's in their dealer DNA. It looks like a good original survivor that needs a few things fixed and cleaned up to make it a decent driver.

I think that he's about 7 years late to the party.

I think people are trying to create another wave since plenty of POS 60's Darts on CL are $4K. But there is a wave or bubble with real-estate in my area of CA (SF Bay Area). You can put a sign on a pile of dog crap and it will sell for $350K. Perhaps locals think the same applies with cars.

Check out this much cleaner '69 GTX 440 all original in a killer color combo. Selling in Gilroy, 30 min south of San Jose. I saw this car in person and it's nice. Not sure on the top price, but I think less than that other add the OP posted.

Hey, 68, funny you bring up that GTX. I remember when Woody bought it for about $4.7K and then had Paul at the MB do the mechanical work. And just to let everyone know it was Paul who cut the original door panels to put in speakers. Paul would be the dirty little Englishman. It's bone stock and was pretty decent car from the get go (until Paul cut the door panels). Miracle did the paint and it came out pretty good, but the question is will it last. The car came with a vintage set of 200S 15x8.5 American mags (daisy mags) and it looked soooo good! Woody sold the car to the owner of some collector car place for ($X) with the wheels after getting dicked around about the sale. Then some idiot put on these crappy steelies and dog dish caps. Yuk! I was the one who verified it was numbers matching, both engine and tranny before it went into the sales place. Oh, and if you want to know where the original 11x3 front drum brakes and spindles are......look under my green Belvedere. Woody gave those to me after Paul did the popular disc brake conversion. Woody also gave me the vinyl top trim off it. It is not a hood stripe car but Woody liked the stripes so he had them put on.

For anyone seriously looking at this car it's a good one. No major rust problems or body damage. Only back window rust; repaired dent in RT front fender by light and not much else. Original color is the really light green but the repaint has a touch too much green compared to how it was, but the original could have been faded too. I describe the original color to be more of a silvery green. It just looked so good with those 200S mags!!

Like I said; I think the second party has started
