So-o-o-o...when I peruse the CL listings,I just type "Mopar" and see what comes up. The Detroit area usually has good stuff;not so much in the Flint area. However...a garage sale listing popped up and in it was "Mopar parts...". All I needed to know. Here's what I got:
A pair of Stage V heads;one is standard port, one is Max Wedge style. Got dem big valves,no machine work(milling, etc) done, and the rust from sitting around is minimal. The Max Wedge head will be offered as trade bait in the classifieds soon. Interestingly;the MW-style head has a casting # of 2406518M. Still trying to find reference online;my B-RB book from Ma is sitting at work, and I know I've seen a reference to them there. Maybe they're not Stage V's.
But wait;there's more...
A complete 1964 parts and price book. Any of you cats need info;I may be able to help.
I also picked up a windage tray, some gaskets, and a set of Crane chrome-moly pushrods with cupped ends. Why,you ask? I'm so effin tired of listening to my rocker arms clatter(I recently bought new arms and shafts and it still sounds like a war going on under the covers. OK;not THAT bad,but you get the idea)that I'm going to install my iron adjustables and needed that style pushrod.
Good guy to deal with(it turns out that I've had good dealings with this gentleman before),and he's got more stuff. There is also a 1965 parts/price book, complete;some manuals, and more "A","B-RB",and Hemi stuff, and some chassis parts. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I'll get you hooked up.
As you can see,one of my felines approves. Smart cat.
