Why??

I'd drive that!! Nicer than a plain truck. Definately eye catching. JMO As a matter of fact it would probably look pretty good sitting next to my car in the driveway.
Oh yea it screams redneck, but redneck is not always a bad thing. I've got a confederate flag flying right under my american one.

I was born and grew up in Ma. I do not think it causes the same bad feeling it does down South..At the I-4 & I-75 intersection flys the Worlds Largest Confederate Flag..First year it was up it was in the damn news almost every week...Heritage or Racism depending on what side you were on...It is 30 x 50 feet and can be seen for MILES..Funny thing is except for a few small differences it looks like the State Flag of Florida !!!

Flat land hill billys, that's why. Kudos to sublimegtx for flying the bars and stars western mass.

I for one think that's pretty damned cool. The execution is great. I'd drive hound out of it.

It doesn't look as radical as some cars ive seen, looks pretty decent but wonder why they do it.

It was a popular thing to do in the 80's.. Door panels look like a piece of felt.. Overall it looks decent but its a freaking 68 Charger... Thats a damn shame is what it is if you ask me. Excecution was good.. but there are some things that are tacky and should have been done better.. I doubt very much it wins any category at a car show except for one thats its the only entry. To each their own.. but a lesser car should have been used IMO
Interior, tires and wheels are hideous

Looks like they did a better job than most that I've seen. Most are a back alley hack job. I've had a couple 68 Satellites that were hack jobs.
I'd take that Charger out in the desert and run the crap out of it.

If its a fresh build maybe the unibody structure was all all rotted and not wanting to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$ for the resto.I have a 74 Swinger like that here right now solid body but rotted bad on the bottom.Or it was built in the 80s when they were still just used up muscle cars and nothing to special.

70RR is right. Ocala is some serious horse country and there's a lot of 4x4s used down there. My problem with this car is that it's listed as a Charger, but it's just got a Charger body on it. The rest is all Durango, so it seems to me it should be listed as a Durango and not a Charger.

I gotta give them credit for what looks to be a pretty good conversion. Definitely some thought and hard work went into it. On the other hand; If I somehow acquired that, the first thing I would do, would be to put that Charger back on the ground and return it to its former glory. Not my cup of tea...I have a full framed truck for playing in the mud and snow.

Maybe a Charango? :eusa_eh:

I like it...I'd drive it. Looks better than my Durango. I'd bet it was another hulk rusting in a field before they did the transformation.

I applaud the work that went into it. I've seen some real hack jobs. But just because you can, doesn't mean you should.... Not my cup of tea at all.

Sublime 68 4x4 Charger/ Duranger

That Color might have something to do with that...LOL... I love 4x4's & I'd drive it, I would change the wheels too, but unfortunately it's only a 5.2ltr/318ci Magnum powered... I wouldn't ever do that to a 68 Charger thou...
