Basically using E body seats in an B body. Are the two models too different or are they close enough. I suppose anything can be made to work but are E and B buckets close to each other. The Coronet has very sun-baked buckets with the buddy seat.

Keep the Coronet tracks & the Challenger buckets can probably be modified to bolt in..

I'm remembering something weird about 70 B body seat bolt spacing, I think one of the corners of the seat has a stud from the track going up into the seat and a nut screwed on inside the seat
where as the Challenger seat bolts all are bolts through the track & into the seat..

Seat frames are the same, seat tracks are different. You will need 70 B body seat tracks.

Anything can be fabricated to fit in Anything. I've used Audi TT seats in a few cars.

Yes.

E body tracks should work.

Steve already has the right tracks on the seats in the 70 Coronet 500. He just needs to swap them to the Challenger seats and they will bolt right in. Make sure to save your 70 Coronet seat frames and the Challenger seat tracks so they can be swapped back whenever you finally recover the Coronet seats.

I wonder if you'd be sitting on the floor like a challenger.
