Will a 6 Bow Headliner fit a 4 Bow car?

Hi guys. I am about to put my headliner in my 1971 Charger, and I just realized that I bought a 6 bow headliner, BUT my car only had 4 bows! Anyone know if this will work anyway? I want to get this done while I have the windshield out and am supposed to have it driveable by the weekend!

pretty sure it will, does your car have 6 bow holders or holes to use 6 bows?

Yeah, it has holes for 6. But when I took it apart it only had 4 bows in it.

if your in a time crunch on the headliner you may be better off to get a 4 bow headliner. It may or may not take a while to find the correct bows for the 6 bow liner

I have the extra bows need for the 6 bow.

Hey, in case people are wondering.....

Got it installed late last night.

The 6-bow headliner works fine with a 4-bow car. It just has 2 extra "listings" (cloth tubes) for the bows to go in. You don't see them when the headliner is installed. No problemo.
