I have a '65 Belvedere II and considering a stick. Will a Lakewood fit the tunnel?

May need to work on the pinch weld a bit, but it will probably fit

I had one in my 68 RR and it fit fine if that means anything. I think it even has multiple ball stud locations. Don't forget the block plate that goes behind the flywheel.

If it's for a early b-body,no problem.68 and later you'll have to extend z bar bracket.

No problem with a "62-'65 b-body ! It's a little tight, but not where you would have to beat the tunnel. You will also have to fabricate a bracket for the frame side, and move your clutch fork a half inch also. And if your planning on using a new style K-frame, it's almost impossible. It can be done, but you would have to fabricate all your clutch linkage , for one, and so on , and so on. If you can locate a 63-65 bell, your in business ! A lot easier. Also Brewers sells a aluminum repop bell for these cars. That's what I used, and everything worked fine, also has original bells for sale also, and everything in between... If your going to race, and worried about safety, you can always use a blanket. Didn't want to mis- lead you. A lot to consider. Good luck.
