I found a deal on craigslist for a plow for my truck and I was wondering if getting the plow would be a good investment to make my truck worth a little more than it already is if I were to go sell it so I can get a little more money out of it. The plow is just a 7.5 foot fisher minute mount but in the end I'd only be giving the guy 150 cash and 3 hobby grade rc trucks for the plow and controller. The plow is a little beat up and the blade has been patched a little but it all works fine. The guy said he'd deliver it for free.

If i see a plow on a truck that i was interested in, or see evidence it had a plow i walk away.

Have you ever plowed snow before? fairly abusive to the truck to do so

I haven't plowed but my truck is all set up to do it, not sure if I should take all the plow stuff off and sell it seperate or buy a plow just to have if it is needed

I am of the same frame of mind as Supershafts. A plow on a truck to me says overworked or rust bucket. Because they all are on the road with salt. That's a huge turnoff for me.

Lotsa plow trucks in GA,is there?

My ram 2500 had over 100k on the clock with a western plow on it.You can tell the owner was the only driver and well maintained.I only had to bring the service up to date and change ALL the fluids so I had a timeline for future PM.
To the OP,sell the truck without the plow and sell the RC,s if you have lost interest.I still have a few old electric RC cars on the shelf:laughing1:

Winters in the Boston area has been hit or miss for snow the past couple years, but if I travel an hour and a half north to visit some family they have a foot all the time.

Not knowing how big your truck is, but is it big enuf to handle a 7.5 blade.
