Will my 6 pack hood close with this intake set-up?

I'm looking at this on craigslist, and I have a 1968 Roadrunner that I want to put a 6 pack hood on AND possibly this intake set up.
My question is: Will it fit with the 6 pack hood? Is there enough room?
Here is the craigslist link:

you can do it if you run old skool with no hood!!! :toothy12:

Really?
No way. :idea1:

On another note, how about with just a low rise dual carb intake manifold. Will the air cleaners clear?
On my A12 clone, with an Edelbrock Torker 440 and matching air cleaner, I had to take a jig saw and cut it out a bit. Will I need to do the same if I use a low rise intake manifold?

I love that look...but during rainy season it would suck. Total gamble every time I'd take the car out.

very true...tis' a daily driver then I assume??

a low rise MAY work, but you would prob have to do some cuttin' and pastin'
:chain saw:

a stock intake doesn't have a helluva clearance either...maybe 1/2-3/4" (top of stock air cleaner stud to bottom of hood...with a 3/4" spacer under da carb)??? ....gents, correct me if i'm wrong??? :icon_axe:

That would make sense. Like I said, on my A12 clone, with a Torker 440 intake and a full size Edelbrock air cleaner, I did have to take a jig saw and cut it to fit...and I actually could even cut it a little more.

I still might roll the dice and hack away. With dual quads, I assume I'd still have plenty of clearence in the front. It's the back of the hood that is the issue.
