Just put in all new wind lace on my 63 Polara, 2 dr ht, Man the doors just won't close, anybody have this problem, if so how did you remedy it??? Thanks

They are a tad thicker than oem, so just slam the doors for awhile, or Ben the metal lip back some.

I had same problem with my 63 fury i let it sit in the sun a with the doors shut and it seemed to help there not as hard to shut now

View attachment 163965View attachment 163966You need to bend the flange inward that the weather strip slides over. A crescent wrench adjusted down tight on the flange works well. I even had to resort to a 5 lb hammer and a large cold chisel. My entire inside of the door is gutted so they're pretty flexible. Just work at it, you can make them fit nice.
