Window Fuzzies/Weatherstrip 1966

Any tips on installing new window fuzzies on a 1966 Satellite Convertible. I have the old ones out and have been able to get the outside of the window fuzzy installed, but having trouble getting the inside fuzzy strip-clips to engage and allow all clips to catch when I try to push it into place. Meaning I can get some of the clips to catch, but not all. A little concerned about pushing too hard in any one spot to get the clip to engage. Any tips would be appreciated.

I think I used a plastic scrapper, I think it is actually made for caulking similar to the pic.
If you have your door panels off you can always drop your window down below the edge by removing the track on the latch side of the door I believe.

Did it work? Hope so. I did mine 40 years ago and forgot how I did it. Had to make my own. Bought fuzzies for a 2 dr fury a 70's something and remove and reinstall the clips, pita.
