Anyone know if the windshield cowling can be removed from a 1969 b body? If so, how?

I'm pretty sure it's a "cut & weld" situation like putting a patch piece in a quarter panel since it's 1-piece with the firewall. How bad is yours? Does it have just some bent "slats"? Does it have a big piece rusted out? There's plenty of help on this site & pictures ALWAYS help.

Replaced the one on my 70 due to rust in the window gutter. Just drill the spot welds all the way around, couple mig welds need to be cut too. Was a lot easier to have the good one cut free of the donor car to drill out. Also got to prime and paint under the cowl while it was off.
