Winged Coronet??

I was told that a 69 Coronet super Bee some models came from the factory with a spoiler on the trunk. Can you confirm or deny their existence?

The trunk lids all have a slight up-swept design at the rear if that is what they mean. Add-on spoilers were either optional? (not sure on which models could get an optional factory spoiler?), or installed by dealers or owners after receiving the car.

Not on 69's as far as I know. 1970 was the first year for them.

Could get on a non-Super Bird 1970 Road Runner as well.

Someone told me the same, and I disagreed. He said his uncle worked at Dodge then, and they were a rare factory option, and I again disagreed with him. '68 & '69 had no wings (just the 69 1/2 Dodge Daytona). '70 Superbees had a wing as well as the '70 Superbird obviously, and then '71-74 Chargers. This is all to my recollection. (I will exclude E-bodys from this assertion)...

No wing on the 69 Coronet Super Bee. 1970 was the 1st year of the go wing. The trunk has a little spoiler look to it but that is molded in the trunk lid.
Now the PO on my car added this one on my Coronet 440 and drilled 4 holes in a perfectly good trunk. I am not much of a fan of it but everybody who is not a Mopar aficionado loves the thing.

Thanks for all the input after 50 years of loving these cars and never seeing one 69 Coronet with a wing or spoiler I thought the story was phony, but I don't know everything Dodge had going back then. Like I thought the first liar doesn't have a chance!

I love the look of the 69 from the back. They are a great looking car but the back is really cool to me.
