Winter is coming up and I don't have a garage to store my car in. So I am going to cover it in the driveway. I also plan on putting moth balls in the bay and dryer sheets under the seats of the car and a couple of other places. Now should I put stabil in my fuel and how often should I start the car and let it run through out the course of winter?

drain all the water and loosen the rockers so valves close stuff some rags in the carb and pull the plugs and spray some wd40 in and replace the plugs after runing a tank of gas with stabil and it,ll be good to hibernate till spring. Theres a lot of wear starting ice cold motors that have been sitting. if you prep it i,d wait till spring

I store my GTX in my unheated garage for the winter here in northern Minnesota and all I do is put some sta-bil in the gas and some carpet fresh powder in the interior, (I've gotten away from using moth balls because it stinks all year long from them.)and bounce dryer sheets in the engine area. I've never had a starting problem in the spring. I've had my car for almost 30 years, lots of long winters. Have a Good Winter.
