On my '63 Plymouth the left wiper stopped working (right one still works) and it can be swung freely as if a link connection is lost. The factory manual has squat on wiper info. When I look under the dash the left linkage is visible thinking the linkage might be disconnected or broke free the arm is intact and it doesn't move when I move the wiper arm. Wonder if the pivot pin attaching to the wiper blade arm is the culprit? If anyone has encountered this or has advice please lemme know. Thanks.

It's possible. Can you look under it while it is operating to see what is not working/broke/stripped?

Are these still the bolt down wiper arms? Maybe the grooved ferrule inside the arm is loose?

Thanks threewood, was over complicating the deal. Yes, these are bolt down and had-had them off last summer. The bolt somehow came loose. Hope the motor and linkage keeps working fine as it doesn't look like a nice job to get to the motor...
Merry Christmas!
