How does the washer switch wire up on a 70 RR ralley dash? Is there a jumper wire from the wiper switch over to it? How do I figure out what brown wire to hook on it? There is 3 are 4 brown wires right together there. Any advice will be a great help. Ronnie in Sizzleing Okla.

On my 68 non ralley dash, which sounds like the same wiring. You have a brown jumper wire fron the wiper switch to the washer switch. You have a another brown wire that runs to the washer pump. Just use a meter to ohm out the brown jumper wire.

Been a while since I mucked around in my dash but as I recall...there is a small brown jumper wire (the shortest one) that powers the washer switch. I honestly don't recall which pin on the back of the wiper switch goes to the washer switch....but the main wiper switch harness eats up all but two of the pins. The other pin that doesnt go to the washer switch is for the medium speed on the 3 speed switch in the 70 model.

All I can tell you is...I had a similar experience....and if you hook up the main harness connector simply put a test light or voltmeter on the remaining pins....the one with power goes to the washer.

Ok, I got my cluster all back together with new gauges, speedo, tach and a new circuit board and got it put back in. Got my washer switch working and it sure is going to be nice to have a working speedo and gauges now. I had my washer switch wired right I just didn't have the small jumper from the wiper switch on it. Thanks Again Ronnie
