I have a 64 Fury convertible which I have basically used the body and rebuilt or replaced everything.Because of the dual fan radiator and 140 amp alternator I purchased the Ron Francis harness kit and rear battery kit.The battery kit is installed and looks good and the rest of the wiring is of good quality however it,s turning into a four month install and not a four hour install which some guys say they have done. Some of the issues are-the conv. top harness is 3 lengths of wire-no connectors. The tail lamp harness has no ends.Horn harness has one plug for dual horns. So Larry at Ron Francis is going to fix me up somehow (probably for more money-already paid them $720) I'll give Larry a chance but I'm pretty pissed right now.Maybe changing every light socket and missing connectors is not a big deal-time will tell and I'll keep you informed

My wiring from Ron Francis was the same, no ends for sockets etc., but being a 47 yr old car, I changed the light bulb sockets. I do like how the wires are marked every so often to let ya know where they go.

I purchased a Hot Rod Wires (hotrodwires.com) universal 12 circuit harness for $139.00 after reeling from the price Ron Francis and Painless wanted for their 'kits'. I used it in my 63 Fury convertible. I also purchased various terminals and extra wire from Del City (delcity.net), and all together had less than $175.00 invested. I wouldn't recommend this for a restoration, but for a resto-mod (hotrod) it worked out fine. I had a question on a Sunday night and the owner answered the phone and helped me out. THAT'S great customer service.

I also like the color coded wiring system and the fuse box looks great too.Once I figure out where to get the sockets and connectors and how to install them(the factory sockets appear to be crimped)I'll be thinking of firing the car up for the first time.
