Hello!
I have a few wiring questions. First off, I finally got around to rewiring my Coronet (1969 with a 440 out of a 1979 motorhome) with an EZ Wiring harness and I'm having a few issues. I believe I have all the wires going to (and from) the right places but I'm not getting any spark.
Quick history: I was driving on the freeway when my fusible link burnt out and while it would crank afterward, there wasn't any spark anywhere. I also noticed the engine would fire for a brief moment when I returned the key from IGN 1 back to IGN 2.
My harness was pretty mangled as it was so I decided to replace all the wiring and start fresh. Now that the new harness is in (sans bulkhead connector), I'm still not getting any spark. I tested the pickup coil and it was out of spec. I haven't replaced the reluctor. I also replaced the ECU. The ignition coil is reading about 8,500 ohms at the secondary and 1.5 ohms at the primary, which I suspect is too much.
Anything scream "fix me, I'm wrong!" about this to you all?
