Have you ever called a guy to help you out with your resto or a guy that you have called to restore your pride and joy every turn wild, and discouraging, rude, etc.

I'd like to hear some stories I'm wondering how bad it is out there. I have a weird one too.

no one ever helps me with my Charger project... I like it better that way haha

Hum, interesting question. My circles have been rather small; from when I was 15 and having a 68 VW Beetle, I pulled the engine, took it apart to see how it all worked, built a engine stand out of firewood and overall received no help, encouragement from my Dad, he'd stand there and scratch his head, then go back to sing/practice or play his trumpet. Hahaha, nice memories.

I don't think I've ever had any wise-guys hanging around me when working on this or that car/project. I don't think I'd throw a party and have every bubba over I know and ask each one to take a turn welding a qtr panel on!

I was a wise guy years ago.

I helped my friend to rebuilt his 340 for his Challanger. Little did he know, I brought a extra piston & connecting rod from home the day we were going to fire up the car. I had him get in the car to start it. I had the piston & rod setting on the shelf behind me so he could see it. He about crapped his pants when he seen a piston on the shelf. He thought we forgot to put them all in!

Haha yeah!

Well this guy Rick I'm talking about claimed to be Mr. Norm's head mechanic until 1977. His brother Tom was head mechanic for WB and worked on certain Orange Chargers from 1979-1985. He told me it would cost over a $100,000 dollars to get my Charger restored.
