Good luck! I still remember going for my test. It was nerve racking and I stalled it(stick car) which added to it, but I made it. We all did. You will do fine.
Break a leg!! Starting out, I dropped the right rear off the curb when we (me and the cop) drove out of the parking lot. Narrow drive and yeah, I was kinda nervous not knowing what to expect but it's a piece of cake. That and not checking my mirrors enough he said but other than that, I did fine. Do they still do the parallel parking test? I aced that no problem. Had a good driving instructor in high school plus it didn't hurt that the school had a 67 Belvedere for the driving course and the car I tested with was a 66
Good luck to you.:sSig_goodluck: It's good to hear about a young'n that's excited about getting their first license. It seems like a lot of kid these days don't care if they get a license and aren't even interested in driving. I guess I'm just old, but I don't get it. I couldn't sleep for a week after I got my license. I must have put a thousand miles on my mom's Rambler that first few days. She wasn't too happy but hey, she could walk to work, right?
Awesome, the kids legal now! And what kind of bogus infraction is not checking your blind spot at a 4 way stop? Regardless, congrats. Everyone in AZ,stay off the sidewalks!!
Congrats. Now your legal tinder and in the system.
You remind me of my driving test. Was 1976. Used a friends 64 Plymouth Belvedere. /6 3 on the tree. 4 years ago I found the car in a local yard and bought it.
I remember getting mine when I was 16 in my Mom's 1960 Dodge Phoenix,318 pushbutton tranny way back in 1967. It is way different these days. Most kids I know are not interested in getting their Coupon anymore. WTF gives with this...anyone know?
I couldn't wait to get on the road, drove the hell out of my Mom's car till I got my own, a 1960 Plymouth slant six with pushbutton tranny.
Way to go Jacob! We are all happy for you, this means Freedom. Protect them but have fun too.
