ooooouuuh, brother are those deep pits on the topside??? I think I would try to find another hood.

$100. With AMD re-popping these and the general availability of them as it is, there's no compelling reason to deal with the rust.

If you decide to toss it in the scrap metal bin, I could use parts off it. Previous owner of my 68 roadrunner cut out fresh air holes when it was being drag raced. I can use the metal where the call outs attached. Otherwise, I'll have to fabricate from scratch. I'd rather get the pieces off a wrecked 68 RR hood, tho. Pic of my 68 RR hood attached (I think)...

Thanks,
Greg

No those are not deep pits, just some staining of some sort. Don`t know what it is but will sand off.Just the underside is bad!

I just gave $150 for one in about the same shape here locally. Like they said, AMD is remaking them for right about $500, so one needing repair dropped in price like crazy. It can be fixed, but it's gonna be worse than it looks once the rust starts getting cut out. Drag it down to Columbus, National Trails this weekend, there's a swap meet going on. It's too late for a spot, but you could hang a sign on your truck with the price and a phone number, and I betcha it would go

I just sold a 69 with no rust at all for $250. I agree yours is worth about $100. - $150.
