I had a 4 speed posted on here tried to rush sell and no one was interested. Then this 70 GTX Dana 60 4 speed car fell into ones lap today and a deal was made and now the 4 speed has a new home!!!

:BangHead:Had zero intentions of buying yet another car but I guess the time was now
I know the feeling, I bought one today. I need another one like I need an additional hole in my head. The price was right, the car was solid, and mostly original. It's an addiction, but I'm glad it's not alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, or women. Just think it's the lesser of all evils, but still expensive.

Consider yourselves blessed to be in a position in life that you can make such purchases out of pocket....
and congrats.jpg!!

That's not all how you do it. You sell the 4 speed after dragging it with you for 20 or 30 years, finally sell it then you find a project that needs one. That's how I do it anyway.

...and that's why I'm not trying to sell any of my 4 speeds.

I am retired and I do cherry pick what I do each day, it is pretty great if I am honest. As I tell people, the hours are great but the pay ain’t for ****…

BTW you can buy the shifter handle brand new, you can even make one if you are handy and paint it black, just metal.

So if anyone has a non console 70 B body pistol grip handle that isn't the cost of a gold bar. Pm me

Post a Want To Buy ad in the appropriate forum will give you a better chance of someone seeing your need.

Great find! I had a red 70 GTX 440 4 speed ,dana car with a console pistol grip shifter and a air grabber hood. I miss that car. Atleast you didn't sell the transmission and then buy the car! I had a rebuilt 70 440 Sixpack engine and sold it right before I got a 70 V code Road Runner!

Unsure of how we will finish this one out but current plan is back to 440 6 pack-4 speed and the Dana has 35 spline strange axles and 4.10 ratio now sitting on summit venom wheels 15x4 and 15x10 I do wish it was an air grabber car but I'll take what we are lucky enough to have gotten. We have a couple cars inline before really starting on this one as it's just me and my dad and my 4 young young kids we just keep picking away at them until they are "done"

You can always add the air grabber hood. AMD sells them, and they are a decent piece.

It has the raised hood. Looks like an air grabber hood without the air grabber. Lol. Has the factory Black out and stripes on the hood
