I'm watching Netflix's Wormwood series now. Sure undermines trust in the US government. The series delves into the CIA secret project MK-Ultra and the testing of LSD unwittingly on its research team. One of its scientists who wants out of the program is murdered and the cover up makes it into a suicide. But the family doesn't buy it.

Storyline
This six-part series explores the limits of our knowledge about the past and the lengths we'll go in our search for the truth. A family story of one man's sixty-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father's mysterious death. A quest which brings him face-to-face with some of the darkest secrets of the United States. Written by Official Synopsis

I like the gritty and twisted shows, The Deuce on HBO and Snowfall on FX both really good. Not a lot of people watched Dice on ShowTime, but I liked it, but don't know if that one will be back. The Vice Principals series on hbo was good, too bad it was only two seasons. I also am waiting for Brockmire on IFC to come back for season two in 2018. In the meantime, I started watching Happy! on SyFy, that's really messed up show, who would have thought an alcoholic ex-cop paired with a tiny imaginary cartoon flying unicorn would be entertaining, but I like it so far. I just wish these networks would do more that 8 episodes in a season, and not make you wait until each summer or 6 to 9 months to see the next season, drives me nuts!!!

That's one of the many reasons I cut the cord and ditched cable/satellite TV and wait for the shows on Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The focus was not on LSD but on the murder of Olson's dad because he knew about it and the use of bio-weapons use in Vietnam and was extremely upset about it. The CIA thought he had to go.
