As the thread title states, I'm looking for a gas tank for my 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 Coupe with the 318 V8.

Intentions this summer are to get the car moving around under her own power on a consistent basis and as such, I'm looking to get the leaking, rust-filled tank out of the car and replaced with a new/very good condition used tank to make that an easier occurrence.

Not in a hurry, hence the WTB ad being posted in February and I don't need it until May at least.

I know AMD sells them, as well as many other companies, I'm just looking to get something for a good price, perhaps cheaper than the $230 that AMD wants for one. (and that doesn't include shipping!)
I'd also be interested in any good condition gas tank hardware you have hanging around, including the tank straps and the sending unit.

If you've got it hanging around and want the space back, hit me up and I'll take it off your hands. Living on a tight budget, or else I'd be restoring the car already! :D

I'm located in the Boston area, but would be willing to drive North, South, or West a bit for the right price on a tank. Would also pay shipping on the right tank/components.

Let me know what you've got and we can deal!
Feel free to PM me here.
Thanks FBBO!

I have a few good used tanks prices vary on condition PM me for details

Van's Auto

Van's has them for $120. I have not seen one in person, but that is a good price and shipping to NC is under $30.

Has anyone used one of these? Curious about the quality.

Rock Auto has them for about $130-$140 depending on if u need it with or w/o vent tubes. IMHO, it's not worth putting an old rusty tank in when u can buy a new one that cheap

Thanks for the heads up, everyone.
Moparparts, I'm going to PM you in a second.
