FOUND WTB 1970 440 HP engine with assembly date February / March 1970 ......... or a good 440 HP block, six pack crank, balancer, and rods

I am looking for a complete 1970 440 HP engine, preferred one that runs or is mostly complete. I will be rebuilding it and would prefer something that is complete, so we don't have to start chasing a lot of parts. Otherwise I can start with a good block and go from there. Located in Florida and I have been a member of FBBO for years with a good trade score.

If no one has a complete engine for sale, we will consider a good date code correct 440 HP block, six pack crank, balancer, and stock six pack rods, and 906 heads. Thanks in advance.

What size are the pistons and are they new ?

One more question. Did you resize the big end of the rod after you installed the new rod bolts ?

Today we picked up a complete date code correct 440 HP engine. It was only a four hour drive from my house and I was able to check it out in person and measure everything before we handed over the cash.

The block and crankshaft we got today still has a standard bore and crankshaft journals. So we have found most of what we need.

We will still be looking for a good six pack balancer and a good complete set of six pack rods as well.
