WTB - 440 short or long block

WTB- 440 block w/main caps. Prefer no rebore.

State part / casting number / year. Pics would be appreciated and any honest history.

Do not want to sleeve any cylinders. Seller must stand behind sale if magnaflux proves there are cracks and block is a "boat anchor".

Please provide area code. Will pick up within ~ 300 miles of RI/MA/CT and pay cash, otherwise shipping.

Too bad you're so far away....I have a standard bore 440 long block from a 70 low miles Chrysler that was totaled out. It has a few goodies including a Hemi grind cam, moly rings, titanium retainers, mildly ported closed chambered heads....

Not sure you want to deal with shipping from MI....My buddy has a 68 or 69 block magnafluxed, hot ,tanked and cleaned. I know it has the mains and I think the crank. If you want his number PM me...he has ZERO computer skills but he knows how to txt pics..

Thank you. You're right in that Detroit is a haul to RI, but I will keep it in mind, especially if the block is in good shape. Any idea how much he'd be asking? Weight ? I might be able to get an idea of frieght charges and if it would be worthwhile.

I have no idea on the weight...Around $500 OBO he has pretty much everything but the heads...still working on pics...I have add on this forum for that motor
