Looking to buy a #1944916 casting number water pump housing in good condition for my 63 B/B.

From: 440 Source, Lancaster CA
Shown above is the earliest housing we offer, with 1944916 as both the part and casting number. These were used from 59-63 on non-AC vehicles. Availability on these is very limited. Please call for details.

the correct housing for a 62- 3 is casting number 2205862 but with the large temp sender threading. the same number is on a late 63 to 64 housing but with the small 1/8th pipe thread. I have one, just taken off an engine

Chignikred; I want the larger sending unit hole and a housing that will accept my P/S pump bracket. Please see the attached photos. I have a 440 source aluminum housing that I modified to fit like the original housing, but suspect that the internal passages are restricting flow. I'd like to have a stock one on hand to compare when I remove the aluminum one. BTW, my info shows #2205862 as a 64 w/AC. It shows #19944916 as the casting & part number. Oh well.

Thank you. I saw this on their site. I've had a few issues with them and prefer to buy elsewhere if I can.

There is a 1944916 casting on eBay right now. Sorry cant get the link on my phone at the moment. Search for max wedge water pump and you'll see it.

I see it, all nice and spray can painted with maxie orange. Why it must be correct because he says " I believe it came off a 62". How about the fact that 19... numbers are late 50's casting numbers.
Mine is correct and it is the 'uncut' non AC version. $25 plus $12 shipping and Ill include the cast filler neck. You will need to refinish it. FYI your PS cap should not be painted.

I can vouch for Ralph's (chignikred) expertise on these casting numbers, he has helped me a ton and even supplied the correct pars when I didn't know what to even look for. But if the above post was directed at me I'm just giving a lead on the casting number the OP believes he is looking for.

Here is the ebay link for Dave, feel free to disregard

Jeff,
Thanks for the nice words. I was commenting on the ebay post, not your suggestion.

Dave,
I called them and it has been sold. Try Bob Mazolinni Racing in Riverside, CA

Uhhhh, my car is a hotrod. The cap is painted black because I want it black. I can't afford to be in to 'original' these days. I appreciate your comments, but I would have to 'cut' the P/S boss shorter to accommodate my P/S bracket. I have more research to do.
