LOOKING FOR THE WIRING FOR A STEERING COLUMN FOR A 67 GTX. HORN, TURN SIGNAL. DOES ANYONE REPRODUCE IT ? THANKS JIMBO.

nice find Justin, so yes it is the same as the early 70s d100, I definitely have a couple columns, I can check to se if the connectors are any good if you need one, you are welcome to it, Ill throw it in an envelope with a stamp on it..

HI BEE , LAST I LOOKED IT LOOKS LIKE A STRIP OF ABOUT 6 WIRES FLAT NEXT TO EACH OTHER THAT RUNS DOWN THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE COLUMN THAT HAS A HARNESS PLUG ON THE END THAT CONNECTS TO THE MAIN HARNESS

yah so that is part of the switch, you need to replace the entire switch and reuse your plug at the bottom, is yours burn up, I don't think they had issues with them models, it was the later years that liked to burn up, I had a few 70s melted pretty good waiting to turn the car into smoke..

If you are restoring the column, I would buy the switch, if you need a good plug let me know, Ill clip one off for you, just post a picture so I know its the same for you..

Thanks Bee, gonna pull it apart and see whats going on. Think plug end is good. I'll let ya know, thanks again

no problem good luck, the plastic gets brittle, but most of the time with the old switches you can use some contact cleaner and embryo cloth a bit of bending and twisting here and there and get them to work. Its the cancelling ones that I see destroyed, the plastic horns break and they no longer work correctly, but I don't think 67 has cancelling mechanisms.. I am not sure what year that started...
