WTB 69/70 dated XS29 440 block

Looking to see if I can locate a 69/70 dated XS29 440 engine block for my RT that's being restored!!!
Am located in South Texas 78045
It seems like these blocks go for anywhere from $800-1200 on Craigslist, but someone always beats me to the punch!

That's a dodge charger r/t. i have a block for a 70 and can stamp HP in it if you want.

No xs29 isn't stamped on the block. OP is looking for a date correct block for a charger r/t.
xs29 are the first 4 digits of the VIN. The block id pad is stamped HP for high performance

If its a date code for a 69 it will be stamped on the block including the vin by the passenger motor mount just above the oil pan. Also will include the date off production and the hp for the 440

Yes, so in this case they are looking for a block with a date of late in 1969 with an F stamp on the pad signifying it is for the 1970 model year as well as the HP.

C=1967 D=1968 E=1969 F=1970 G=1971 H=1972 and so on. As you say any high performance application got the HP stamp on the pad.

They were 69 model year cars so they would get an E.

I have the 440 that was in my 1970 Cuda for sale. It is a 69 Charger 440, with a casting date of 10*28*68, the VIN on the side of the block is XS29L9B243908. I am asking $2500.00. The engine runs great, and had no issues. It is complete from Intake to Oil Pan. Has front cover and Balancer, have exhaust manifolds also. I re-used the Flex Plate, Carb, and Dist. in the 383. (had to use a RB-B adapter for the Dizzy) Asking? $2500.00 accepting offers. I have no idea what a complete running 440 is worth, but I know I spent 3200. rebuilding the 383. Located In Houston Texas Area. Can crate for shipping.

Hi, did you still need a 440 block? I have one that needs to be bored out it has a stndard size steel crank with or without. In So. Texas also.78404. I'm not sure about comunicating on these forums it's my first reply.
